Bought this on a whim thinking it would be perfect for holding hot coffee, and I wasn't disappointed, it doesn't leak the handle didn't come off and when you tip it coffee comes out. All in all a great product well developed and tested. Would recommend of you like coffee. I haven't tried tea but who drinks that anyway.
